Queens: Buhrman's Lane - Horace Harding Boulevard

Alley Park: Buhrman Lane, west side, south of Horace Harding Boulevard, showing the home of W.C. Buhrman. This house was built about 1905. The old home stood just north (foreground) of the present house, against the stone wall. The original postoffice is said to be the little yellow house south of the present home (testimony of Mrs. Foster given about 1900). She was born about 1812. The other yellow house south of the Post Office, was the poor house of this district. This is a set of two views. January 1926. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
