The photographer is viewing towards Sixth Avenue to show a row of balconaded buildings bearing Nos. 20 to 38 inclusive and situated in the middle of this block. No. 26, reputed to have been the home of President Martin Van Buren, has recently been leased by Franklin P. Adams (F. P. A. of news fame) for alteration into modern one room apartments.
