Manhattan: Vesey Street - Broadway

A general view westward on Vesey Street from Broadway, as seen from the St. Paul Building (Broadway at the S.E. corner of Ann Street) and showing the spire of St. Pauls P.E. Chapel silhouetted against the cemetery and Trinity offices at its rear. Prominently shown is the New York Telephone Co. Building (West Street) of which appears the Washington Street side. Dimly observable is the New Jersey shore as seen across the Hudson (North) River. Note the five story loft buildings standing between the Sixth Ave. (Church Street) and Ninth Ave. (Greenwich Street) elevated and overshadowed by the Underwood Building.
