Manhattan: West Street - Houston Street (West)

Doherty's Hotel, 342 West Street at the S. E. corner of West Houston Street (formerly Hammersley Street), opposite Pier 39, North River. Adjoining the hotel used to be the Church of the Holy Comforter on the Houston Street side, and the Seamen's Church Institute at 341-340 West Street. The hotel itself will have to go in 1930.
