Manhattan: 25th Street (East) - Avenue D

E. 25th Street, south side, west from the East River, showing a row of taxicabs extending towards First Avenue. The 6 story Municipal Lodging House is seen across the roof of the low center structure and backed up to the rear of the J.J. Little and Ives printing and bookbinding plant. The Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Building top is barely observable. About 1920.
