Manhattan: 5th Avenue - 25th Street
Fifth Avenue, west side, between 25th and 26th Streets, excavation after wrecking small house at 210 Fifth Avenue, where 12-story Cross Chambers Building (Mark Cross & Co.) is to be erected. On left, No. 208 will later be remodelled to accommodate the Lincoln Trust Company. On the right, the Cafe Martin occupies the premises recently vacated by Delmonico's, which moved up to 44th Street.
