Manhattan: Broadway - Barclay Street

Broadway, west side, at Barclay Street, showing the sites of the future Transportation and Woolworth Bldgs. The former rose in 1926 at the S. W. corner that now is the northerly half of the old Astor House. The several structures at the right forming the block frontage from Barclay Street to Park Place will be removed in 1912 for the distinctive Woolworth Building. About 1890 Roege, photo H. N.
