Manhattan: Broadway - Park Row

Broadway (left) and Park Row (right) above Vesey Street, showing the old General Post Office and Federal Bldg. on the day demolition actually started on the outside. This structure, erected about 63 years ago at a cost of 8,500, 000 is to be removed to allow City Hall Park to return to its original contour.
