Manhattan: East River Drive - Gracie Square

East River Drive, at Gracie Square (East 84th Street) showing constructional details depicted by a series of oils by Mrs. John Markell. These were on display at the Municipal Reference Library from April 15th to the 30th of 1940. Titles of same are: Twinkling Lights, City fireboat, gas tanks, and A storm coming. This series is southeastward across the East River, showing in the background Welfare Island and the Queensboro Bridge. 1939 Views 1-4
