Manhattan: 34th Street (East) - 2nd Avenue

East 34th Street, north side, east of Second Avenue, showing the by-pass roadway leading to the Midtown-Queens Tunnel under construction. This will run thru the 34th -35th Street block and into St. Gabriels Park. View 1 shows the Columbia University building at 310 being demolished. View 2 is the same site later showing the swath necessary. Note the library building on 36th Street still standing.
