Manhattan: Houston Street (East) - 2nd Avenue
120-122 (left), and 124-126 East Houston Street, at and adjoining the N.E. corner of Second Ave., showing the store-fronts of two 5-story buildings. The entire block of houses of which these are a part were later demolished to make way for the construction of the Independent System Subway (Eighth Ave. subway). On their site is now (1937) a playground and park. P. L. Sperr. July 17, 1929.
