Manhattan: Broadway - 43rd Street
Broadway, east side, from 43rd to 45th Streets. The Hotel Cadillac, after remodeling, will for a while be called the Wallick, but its original name will soon be restored. Rector's, a famous restaurant of the fin du siècle days, will soon be replaced, along with the corner building at 44th Street, by the Hotel Claridge. In the next block, from 44th to 45th Streets, is the New York Theatre, which also houses the Criterion Theatre. This building will be torn down in 1935. May, 1909. Brown Brothers.
