E. 28th Street, south side, east of Lexington Avenue. (general view northwestward). A roof-top view across a low structure at the S. E. corner of the above mentioned location, looking towards the uncompleted Empire State Building. Obscuring a better perspective are office buildings at the S. E. and N. E. corners of Fourth Avenue and E. 29th Street. The low structures in the center are furnished room houses today and are at the N. W. corner of Lexington Avenue (right) and E. 28th Street (left).
