Sixth Avenue Extension South, (under construction) north from W. Houston to Bleecker Streets (intersection in the center) showing both a new thoroughfare and a Municipal subway (Eighth Avenue) under construction. Buildings on the right formerly formed the easterly side of Hancock Street. Note the San Carlos Mission still standing.
