Manhattan: 4th Avenue - Astor Place

New Madison Avenue bus in front of American Bible House, Fourth Avenue at N. E. corner of Astor Place. These buses in February, 1935, replaced the Madison Avenue street cars, which had been in continuous operation since 1832. April 19, 1935. P.L. Sperr, Photographer.
