Manhattan: Washington Street - Charles Street

683, 681 & 679-77 (one story garage) Washington Street (left to right, across the foreground), at, adjoining and south of the S. E. corner of Charles Street, as viewed southeastward across a clearance on the west side of Washington Street, showing structures on a portion of the State Prison site of the early Nineteenth Century. Buildings on Charles Street bear No's. 146 to 134, the first being at the corner and having addresses on both thoroughfares. Partially shown on the right is the 12 story Everard Warehouse, occupying a site at the N. E. corner of Washington and West 10th Streets. No. 2 is similaw, tho slightly later. November 8, 1930.
