Manhattan: University Place - 8th Street

University Place, east side, from 10th to 8th Streets, showing the University Place Presbyterian Church (1845) on the S.E. corner of 10th Street, and the Hotel Lafayette (formerly Hotel Martin) on the S.E. corner of 9th Street. The vacant lot on the N.E. corner of 10th Street was left by the demolition (since 1902) of 65 University Place (old No. 35) and 23 East 10th Street. This lot will remain vacant till nearly 1925, when a 6-story building will be erected on it. April 18, 1906. Brown Brothers.
