A NEW VIEW OF A NEW SKYLINE--ALL OF THESE GIANT UPTOWN BUILDINGS HAVE SPRUNG UP WITHIN THE PAST TWO YEARS NEW YORK.--PHOTO SHOWS: An excellent and new angle on the new uptown skyline. This shot was taken from the top of Carnegie Hall and shows the skyline from 54th Street and 6th Avenue to 23rd Street and Madison Avenue (Madison Square). Left to right the buildings are: the Warwick Hotel, St. Patrick's Cathedral; New York Central Building; Chanin Building (the highest uptown skyscraper); four buildings together, --Empire Trust, Fred F. French, Bank of the United States, and the new Lefcourt building; then the Arnold Constable building at 40th Street; and at extreme right, the New York Life on the site of the old Madison Square Garden. All of these buildings have been erected in the past two years. In the foreground is the dome of the Mecca Temple. 878601 SKYLINE
