Manhattan: 34th Street (East) - 2nd Avenue

E. 34th Street, north side, east from Second Avenue to the East River. Overhead is the Second Avenue "El" and its 34th Street Station. Note at the right the T beams to which were hooked the 34th Street spur line that formerly ran to the Borden Avenue Ferry terminal at the waters edge. To the center of this view and slightly east of the corner is the 4 story building housing Columbia University's College of Dental and Oral Surgery.
