Manhattan: Park Avenue - 39th Street
Park Avenue, west side, from 40th to 39th Streets, showing Murray Hill Hotel on the N.W. corner of 40th Street; the view is from the Pershing Square Building on the east side at 41st Street. The old houses which are being demolished on the S.W. corner of 40th Street will be replaced in 1933 by a white two-story structure with stores. The buildings on the S.W. corner of 39th Street will be demolished in September, 1933.
