Manhattan: 32nd Street - 33rd Street

One Park Avenue, east side, from 32nd to 33rd Streets, on the site of the old Metropolitan Street Railway carbarns. This building was awarded the Fifth Avenue Association's second prize for new buildings, for the year 1926. The architects were York and Sawyer. Notice the street sign reading "4th Avenue." The name Park Avenue will shortly be extended down to 32nd Street. The name One Park Avenue will be the subject of a litigation between the One Park Avenue Corporation and Mrs. Robert Bacon, owner of the house on the N.E. corner of 34th Street; the matter will not finally be settled in favor of this building till February 1928. 1926.
