Manhattan: Park Avenue - 32nd Street

Park Avenue between 32nd and 33rd Streets, looking west from the excavation on the east of the avenue. In the foreground the old street railway carbarns have been demolished, and the ground is being prepared for the 18-story office building to be called No. 1 Park Avenue. On the N. E. corner of 33rd Street stands the 71st Regiment Armory. On the west side between 32nd and 33rd Streets, the old Park Avenue Hotel is shortly to be demolished and replaced by another office building.
