Manhattan: Park Avenue - 38th Street
Park Avenue, north from 38th Street, showing the nearly completed New York Central Building towering over Grand Central Terminal. The following buildings in the picture are later to be demolished: the house shown on the S. W. corner of 40th Street and the two houses adjoining it on the south (1931), the four houses from the N. E. corner of 39th Street north (1933), and the Hotel Belmont in the block above the old Murray Hill. The Princeton Club is the building on the N. W. corner of 39th Street. Above the house on the N. W. corner of 39th Street one can see a little bit of the building at 60 East 42nd Street which is about to give place to the new Lincoln Building. 1928. Cosmo Photo Co. with credit.
