Manhattan: Park Avenue - 35th Street

Park Avenue north from 35th Street, showing the Grand Central Station in the background with the new New York Central Building at 46th Street rising beyond it. "To the left may be seen the tower of the Lefcourt Colonial building (1928-29) on the N.W. corner of Madison Avenue and 41st Street, also the upper portion of the new Lincoln Building at 60 East 42nd Street between Madison and Park Avenues. The old Murray Hill Hotel on the N.W. corner of 40th Street is shown against the Hotel Belmont, which will be demolished in 1931. In the right background may be seen the towers of the new Chanin and Chrysler buildings, the latter still under construction.
