Manhattan: 6th Avenue - 43rd Street (West)

Sixth Avenue, west side, from West 44th (center) to 43rd Streets. This photograph, taken from the east side of the Avenue is in a southwestern direction to show towering structures at 42nd Street. They are the dominant Bush Building and the No. 113 W. 42nd Street Building. View 2 is photographed across the parking lot where the former Hippodrome stood. The low 6th Avenue buildings in this view are at 43rd Street. To the left is a portion of Stern's Department Store. The white 33-story, No. 1441 Broadway Building is included.
