Manhattan: Broadway - 24th Street
Broadway, west side, from 24th to 26th Streets. At the left is the Albemarle Hotel; the building adjoining it and the corner building together constitute the Hoffman House. At the extreme right is the St. James Hotel, which will be the first of these three hotels to give way to an office building, a fate to which they are all doomed. About 1890. Brown Brothers.
