Queens: Jamaica Avenue - 127th Street

Jamaica Avenue, north side, between 127th and 130th Streets, showing the Dow Ditmars House, a pre-Revolutionary structure. Dow Ditmars married in 1687 and removed to Jamaica from Flatbush, where he died about 1755. Later owners of the house were: Pat Cary, 1860; Mrs. L. G. Blinck, 1872; Mra.
