Queens: Jamaica Avenue - 127th Street

Jamaica Avenue, north side, between 127th and 130th Streets, showing the Dow Ditmars House, built before the Revolution. Dow Ditmars; son of John Ditmars, died about 1755. The house was occupied by Pat Cary in 1860; by Mrs O'Connor in 1891; by Dominicus Vandeveer in 1902; Adikes was the owner in 1923. The house was demolished in late 1928. Eugene L.
