Battery Park: A northward view towards its building outline at Battery Place, extending from West Street on the left to Broadway on the right. View No. 1 shows the outstanding structures identified as the Whitehall, the Washington, the Bowling Green, the U.S. Customs House, the Battery Park and the Chesebrough buildings. View No. 21 includes the annex to the Whitehall Building and the West Street building. Note the Singer Tower at the right. At the right margin of View No. 3 is the Standard Oil Building.
