Manhattan: Grove Street - Bedford Street

Grove Street, south side [in three views:] [View 1], west from Bedford, to Hudson Street. This thoroughfare makes a decided turn midway between these points; the area to east of same (foreground) was the old Hering Farm, and that to the west, the Trinity Church Farm. Upon the latter, on the west side of Hudson Street, is St. Luke's Protestant Episcopal Chapel, erected 1821-4.
