Bowling Green: A park located between Whitehall Street (left) and Broadway (right). This view is south on Broadway, from a point south of Morris Street, and shows across the Green, Nos. 1 to 7 Bowling Green, a row of 4 1/2-story buildings, known as "Steamship Row" because of their occupants' occupation. The buildings on the right, in the order of their appearance are north of, adjoining and at the N.W. corner of Battery Place. The corner building being the Hotel Washington. 1870. N.Y.
