Queens: 19th Avenue - Hazen Street
19th Avenue, south side, just east of Hazen Street. The view is southeastward toward 19th Road, the Old Bowery Bay Road, and shows the Isaac Rapelye farmhouse and the small cemetery adjoining the house. Rapelye bought the land in 1800. A tombstone standing in the cemetery bears the name of Abraham Rycher, born 1691, died 1770. On the extreme right of view 3 is the chimney of the old pumping station. 1923 Views 1,2,3 View-1 View-2
