Manhattan: Vanderbilt Avenue - 42nd Street
Vanderbilt Ave., south from, but not including East 47th., to and including 42nd Streets. On the left appears the Grand Central Palace Building, with the Grand Central Station receding southward to 42nd Street, at which point the Lincoln Building abruptly terminates the view. On the right, is shown the Roosevelt Hotel (46th to 45th Streets), the Vanderbilt Concourse Building (S.W. corner of 45th Street) and the Hotel Biltmore (44th to 43rd Streets), which is just south of the Yale Club (Building at the N.W. corner of 44th Street, and bearing a dark banner). 1936.
