Manhattan: Houston Street (East) - Allen Street
East Houston Street, at, and adjoining the S.E. corner of Allen Street, showing a 2½-story frame house (at the corner) bearing No. 208 Allen Street. The 4-story house adjoining it is No. 173 East Houston Street. Both houses were later demolished for the widening of Allen Street, where a portion of the Second Ave. Elevated Line is conspicuously visible. June 21, 1927. P. L. Sperr.
