Manhattan: Madison Avenue - 24th Street (East)

Madison Avenue, at the N. E. corner of East 24th Street, showing the Stanford White designed, Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church under construction. This was eventually removed for an office structure affiliated with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company though church facilities were accorded therein. Subsequently a block-wide project for the same people will necessitate removal. Dr. Parkhurst was a minister here. View 2 is a photo of the Hartford (Conn.)
