Manhattan: Madison Avenue - 24th Street (East)

Madison Ave., north from and including East 24th Street, showing scaffolding erected in front of three tall buildings, Nos. 17, 19, and 21-25, south of, adjoining and at the S.E. corner of East 25th Street, in preparation for their demolition, an operation which is being conducted by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. On the west side of the street (left) is visible part of Madison Square Park as it extends north to East 26th Street.
