Manhattan: Houston Street (West - Varick Street

(1) 218-216-214 West Houston Street, north side, east of Varick Street: three houses dating back to the time of the Civil War, but not much earlier. No. 216 has a passageway through it from the street to the stables, which are in the rear. The building adjoining them at the right is No. 206, as if these three houses were numbered 218, 212, 208, respectively. June 15, 1930. P. L. Sperr.
