Manhattan: West Street - Spring Street

West Street, north from and including Spring Street and Pier 35, North River. The West Side Elevated Highway is under construction from this point north to 23rd Street and Eleventh Avenue, it will be opened in November. The boy on horseback is supposed to be warning vehicles and pedestrians out of the way of the oncoming train. June 3, 1930. P. L. Sperr.
