Manhattan: MacDougal Street - Sullivan Street

Alley between 4 and 8 Macdougal Street, east side, and the view north from it inside the block between Macdougal and Sullivan Streets, north of Spring Street, during the reconstruction of the southern end of Macdougal Street as part of Sixth Avenue Extension. In the center of the block is a 5-story inside tenement house at the rear of what used to be the 4-story house at 14 Macdougal Street. To the right may be seen the rear of 104 and 102 Sullivan Street, and, more to the right, part of the rear of the old 6-story stables at 96-100 Sullivan, with its little 2 story wing in the rear. The south side of this old stable exactly marks the old boundary line between the Trinity Church Farm and the West Bayard Farm. P. L. Sperr. October 17, 1928.
