Manhattan: Charles Lane - Washington Street

Charles Lane, adjoining the N.W. corner of Washington Street, looking towards Perry Street. The little stable in the foreground is the easternmost building (there are no house numbers) on the north side of Charles Lane, and directly adjoined the rear of the six-story building at 694 Washington Street, which was demolished to make room for the New York Central elevated roadbed.
