Manhattan: East River Drive - Gracie Square
East River Drive, at Gracie Square (East 84th Street) showing constructional details depicted by a series of oils by Mrs. John Markell. These were on display at the Municipal Reference Library from April 15th to the 30th of 1940. Titles of same are: Rainy day, Beginning of the work, Ice in the River. The first two views are southward towards the Queensboro Bridge and Welfare Island. No. 3 is in a northeastward direction from Beekman Place.
