Manhattan: Madison Avenue - 23rd Street (East)

Madison Avenue, east side, from East 23rd (right) to 24th Street, showing the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company building and tower and the Madison Square Presbyterian Church. The latter, erected in 1906, was formerly on the corner site where the tower is rising. Expansion of the Insurance Company will eventually cause this to be demolished for an office structure and which in turn will be removed for a latter annex that will include the entire 24th to 25th Street block.
