Queens: Alley Road - Buhrman's Lane

Alley Park: Alley Road, east side, north of Buhrman's Lane, showing in a set of three views the Foster house. It was erected in 1776. The stone part of this house erected in the same year was used in that year as the Queens County Jail for Federal prisoners. T. Foster owned it in 1891. In 1909 the Cord Meyer Company had it. It is no longer in existence in 1937. If one were to place it on a late map it would probably be in the Horace Harding Boulevard at Alley Park East.
