Manhattan: Madison Avenue - 23rd Street (East)

Madison Avenue, east side, from 26th to 23rd Streets along Madison Square seen from the west. On N.E. corner of 26th Street stands the New York Life Building, on the site of the second Madison Square Garden. On S.E. corner of 26th Street the Manhattan Club (old Jerome residence) has been remodelled, balconies removed. At the right is a good view of the Metropolitan tower at 24th Street.
