Manhattan: 14th Street (East) - Irving Place

East 14th Street, north side, east from Irving Place to Third Avenue, showing the (2nd) Academy of Music that was erected in 1867-8, Tammany Hall, or the Columbian Order (including the basement theatre of Tony Pastors'), and the Central Hotel. By 1940, the Consolidated Edison Company will have absorbed all of this land exclusive of the latter for their towering office building.
