Manhattan: 18th Street - Irving Place

18th Street at and adjoining the S.E. corner of Irving Place, showing the former Huyler Chocolate and Cocoa Works. The corner building is the oldest part of the factory, dating back to around 1879. The taller double building at 132-36 East 18th Street was built about 1908. Beyond it may be seen "The Stuyvesant", at 142 East 18th Street, one of the first apartment houses built in the United States. July 3, 1928. P. L. Sperr.
