Manhattan: 5th Avenue - 78th Street

968-5, 964, 963 and 960 Fifth Ave., east side, south from East 78th to 77th Streets, showing prominently the Jacob H. Schiff house, No. 968-5, adjoining the S.E. corner (empty lot, former No. 969). On the extreme right is a part of No. 960, the Clark mansion, located at the N.E. corner of 77th Street. This, and its neighbor No. 963 were demolished in 1926 and on their site erected a large apartment house. The Schiff house, together with the empty lot will form the site of an 18-story apartment building according to the N.Y. Sun September 29, 1937. June 1925.
