Manhattan: York Avenue - 64th Street

York Ave., at the N.E. corner of 64th Street, showing several of the building's comprising the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research. Under the present organizations the departments maintained are: Pathology, Bacteriology, Physical and Pathological Chemistry, Physiology, comparative Zoology, Pharmacology and experimental Therapeutics. It co-operates with many other bodies in practical investigation. A hospital under the direction of the Institute is maintained where the different diseases that effect mankind are given closest scientific study. About 1922. Ewing Galloway.
