Manhattan: York Avenue - 64th Street

York Avenue, west side, 64th to 65th Streets, inclusive, seen from east of York Avenue, the clearing left by demolition of the old malting plant of George Ehret. The building for private patients, on the S.W. corner of 64th Street, is the newer part (around 1902) of the Flower Hospital. The apartment buildings from 64th to 65th Streets were built around 1905 where a lumber yard and a stone yard used to be. December 22, 1930. P. L. Sperr.
