Manhattan: Houston Street (East) - Eldridge Street
East Houston Street, south side, west from (No. 143) but not including Eldridge Street (left), to and including the Bowery, as seen from First Ave., and showing prominently (white building with fire-escape stairways) the National Theatre (formerly known as the Thomashefsky Theatre) which is a Jewish legimate stage playhouse. It is at the S.W. corner of Chrystie Street. Contiguous to it is also shown St. Augustine's Chapel (Trinity Parish).
